LPD: Two arrested after property owner find them breaking into house - Police have arrested two men they say were found breaking in to a farm house by the property's owner Sunday night. Police say the farmhouse was located on Gentry road, in the Athens area. Police say the property owner returned home, finding Eric Brown and Christopher Ashworth breaking in.

Skeletal remains found in Hart County - State police are investigating after finding skeletal remains Sunday. Troopers say they were found in the 1100 block of N. Nelson Road. They say the remains are suspected to be those of a human. The remains have been taken to the medical examiner's office for further examination.
